Amnis Pura announced a supply contract with leading British fuel cell power company to provide a Pressure Swing Adsortion unit of 270 m3/h to be integrated on a ammonia cracker for hydrogen production.
Ammonia is one of the most produced inorganic chemicals. It is a liquid at room temperature, is storable and easy to trasport. The primary bi-products of amonia cracking and consumption are water and nitrogen, making it a suitable hydrogen carrier.
Frederico Relvas, CTO, commented, ” The British market is very dynamic. We have received many quotation requests, form this British market, having always hydrogen as the central point”. This 270 m3/h unit is suitable for decentralized production. Nevertheless, our customer envisions scaling up to 1MW in a short period of time. In this sense, our objective is to work with our customers in order to develop the most efficent, cost effective and reliable equipment, mantaining a long-term relationship to grow in scale along with our customers.
Amnis Pura expects to deliver and start the comissioning of those units in the end of Q2 2022.
