Our solutions support a broad range of gas separation and purification needs across energy and industrial sectors. Our swing adsorption based systems are engineered to deliver high purity, strong recovery, and reliable performance under various operating conditions.

Hydrogen

Hydrogen plays a central role in the transition toward cleaner energy and low-carbon industrial processes. To meet the requirements of downstream applications, hydrogen streams must be purified to stringent quality specifications.

Each unit is engineered to match the specific characteristics of the source stream whether from reforming, electrolysis, cracking, or other hydrogen production pathways and is suitable for both small-scale installations and large industrial plants.

CO₂ & CO

Efficient carbon dioxide (CO₂) and carbon monoxide (CO) separation plays a key role in modern synthesis processes, low-carbon fuel production, and industrial gas management. In applications such as e-SAF production, water-gas shift (WGS) systems, hydrogen production, and syngas conditioning, precise control of these components is essential to optimize reaction efficiency and meet product specifications.

We provide advanced PSA-based solutions for the selective removal, recovery, or concentration of CO₂ and CO from process streams. Our systems enable high product purity, improved carbon management, and enhanced overall plant performance while maintaining reliable and flexible operation.

Biogas, Industrial Waste Gas

Biogas requires treatment (removal of impurities) and upgrading (CO₂ separation to increase CH₄ content). The ultimate goal is producing biomethane, suitable for grid injection, transportation fuel, or high‑efficiency CHP systems.

We provide advanced purification and upgrading solutions covering the full process chain, from pretreatment to final gas conditioning.

Industrial waste gas recovery on the other hand refers to the capture, treatment, and reuse of gases emitted from industrial processes – such as exhaust streams from chemical plants, refineries, steel mills, cement kilns, and manufacturing facilities – with the aim of reducing emissions, recovering energy, and improving resource efficiency.

Helium

Helium is a valuable and limited resource, making efficient purification and recovery important to minimize losses and reduce operating costs. Liquid helium is widely used as a refrigerant to achieve extremely low temperatures. In particle accelerators, superconducting magnets are cooled first with liquid nitrogen and then with high-purity helium.

To enable reliable liquefaction and reuse, helium must reach very high purity levels. We provide advanced purification solutions that remove trace impurities and moisture while maximizing helium recovery. Our systems help protect valuable helium inventories and ensure efficient, reliable performance in demanding applications.

Air Separation

We design and manufacture on-site gas generation and purification systems, specializing in inertization solutions for critical environments, such as glove boxes, controlled-atmosphere enclosures, and medical applications.

Our portfolio includes Nitrogen and Oxygen Generators, as well as compressed air solutions, all tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.

Special Applications, Other Gases

Certain gas upgrading duties require performance beyond conventional single-stage separation, particularly when the target component is present at low concentration in the feed stream. In such cases, achieving high recovery and high product purity can be technically challenging with a single-stage unit. To address these demanding scenarios, we offer advanced dual-stage PSA/vPSA/TSA configurations as well.

Another important use case is air separation, were simple PSA configurations are well suited to produce high purity N₂ onsite to avoid costly transportation and handling (Nitrogen Generators). Our solutions are optimized to specific customer needs (size/purity/pressure) but can also provide standardized products in higher quantity utilizing the series production know how of our industrial shareholder Witzenmann GmbH.
