Applications

Biogas, Industrial Waste Gas

Biogas Upgrading

Biogas is a valuable renewable energy source that requires efficient upgrading before it can be fully utilized. The primary components of biogas such as methane (CH₄) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) can first be separated to unlock the energy potential of the stream. Following separation, both gases require high-level purification to meet the specifications for downstream use. A typical upgrading scheme begins with H₂S removal to protect downstream equipment and ensure process reliability. The main components, CH₄ and CO₂, are separated and purified to meet the specifications of the final application. We provide advanced purification and upgrading solutions covering the full process chain, from pretreatment to final gas conditioning. Where required, the purified streams can be precisely adjusted to achieve a specific CO₂/CH₄ ratio, supporting applications such as methanol synthesis and other downstream conversion processes.

Industrial Waste Gas Recovery

Pollutants adsorb to solid materials such as activated carbon or zeolites to remove VOCs, sulfur compounds, and other contaminants. With our adsorption based technologies various pollutants can be separated using case specific adsorbent material and process designs. With the extensive process know-how we are able to support customers to optimize their overall process design providing the most efficient purification solution.
