The “Baterias 2030” project

Batteries as a central element for urban sustainability” aims to develop the batteries of the future and introduce technological developments in solutions applied to the urban environment. The Baterias 2030 project consortium, made up of 14 companies, has the capacity to design and validate an innovative approach to energy storage. This objective will contribute to extending the life cycle of batteries (lithium-ion). Baterias 2030’s strategy is aligned with Europe’s objectives in terms of decarbonisation and a sustainable urban environment, based on renewable sources such as solar, wind, thermal and kinetic.
